We will only be considering applications from businesses that undertake their trading activity within the following sectors: .
accommodation
breweries
childcare
event industries
gyms
hospitality
leisure
nightclubs
personal care
theatres
travel and tourism
wedding industries
wholesalers
this list is not exhaustive
Your business must:
have been actively trading on 30 December 2021
not be in administration
not be insolvent
not have a striking off notice made against it
be based in the Stratford on Avon District Council Area
be able to confirm its eligibility under the scheme conditions and subsidy control regulation
not be in receipt of a grant award from the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure scheme
The Government and Stratford on Avon District Council will not accept deliberate manipulation and fraud. Any business or individual caught falsifying records to gain grant money will face prosecution and any funding issued will be subject to recovery.
Taxi Drivers: Only Operators registered with Stratford District Council will be considered.
The definition of operator is a personal holding a licence to operate private hire vehicles. The Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 requires that a licence should be held by the proprietor of each private hire vehicle and by each person who acts as a driver of a private hire vehicle or by an operator of private hire vehicles who in the course of business provides for the invitation and acceptance of bookings for such vehicles.
Decisions on rejected applications are final.
